Mr. Fatos Krasniqi has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of PriBank in December 2021. Mr. Krasniqi comes from the banking industry with over 18 years of experience, where he cultivated a sensational career in various fields of management and leadership with special emphasis on business development, management projects, branch management and human resources management. Previously, he led a private business for 9 years and then worked as a Logistics Leader for IOM (International Organization for Migration) for nearly 5 years, which further enriched his diversity of experience.

During his career at Raiffeisen Bank, he held various leadership positions in the branch: Regional Manager of Prishtina, Regional Manager of Prizren and Manager of SME Loans for the Prishtina Region, as well as in the head office: Head of the SME Department and the Department for Micro Business. During 14 years at Raiffeisen Bank, Mr. Krasniqi gained considerable experience on both sides of the bank, mastering the design of policies and strategies on the one hand and the efficient execution of the same on the other.

Mr. Krasniqi has worked as Chief Executive Officer at the Economic Bank and has very successfully led this institution in the years 2018-2020. During this period, Mr. Krasniqi has shown outstanding results in terms of increasing the deposit portfolio, increasing the credit portfolio, increasing the bank’s net profit, improving the quality of the portfolio, structuring the Business Departments and opening two new Business Departments (Premium and Leasing), re-designing processes within the bank, as well as consolidating and raising the bank’s reputation. Mr. Krasniqi studied Electronic Engineering and Economics, while also holding a Master’s degree in Management and Finance. Mr. Krasniqi is currently completing his Doctoral Dissertation at the “St Klement Ohridski” University in Bitola, Macedonia. Mr. Krasniqi has attended over 80 trainings both in the country and in the Balkans and Europe. During 32 years of work in private business, international government organization and in 2 international and local banking institutions, Mr. Krasniqi has attended trainings, conferences, seminars and has visited and exchanged experiences in banks and eminent banking institutions in Europe, where he has also gained the necessary experience in bank management.
